How do I change my wallpaper automatically every day?
Use auto-shuffle. DailyThemes keeps a “DailyThemes Shuffle” album in Photos, and a one-time automation in Apple's Shortcuts app sets a random wallpaper from it daily. iOS runs the automation; DailyThemes keeps the album fresh.
- Keep the shuffle album. In DailyThemes, turn on Auto-shuffle. The app creates a “DailyThemes Shuffle” album in Photos and keeps it filled with your Library or the latest drops.
- Create a daily automation. Open Shortcuts ▸ Automation ▸ New (+). Choose Time of Day, pick a time, set Repeat to Daily and choose Run Immediately.
- Add Find Photos. Add the Find Photos action. Set Album is “DailyThemes Shuffle”, Sort by Random, Limit 1.
- Add Set Wallpaper Photo. Add the Set Wallpaper Photo action. Choose Lock Screen, Home Screen or both, and turn off Show Preview.
Update the album from DailyThemes whenever your Library changes. This works for The Season's Christmas wallpapers too.

How do I set a wallpaper?
Tap Save in DailyThemes; the wallpaper is saved to Photos, framed for your device. Then touch and hold your Lock Screen, tap + (Add New Wallpaper) ▸ Photos, pick it, tap Add and Set as Wallpaper Pair. iOS doesn't let apps set wallpapers directly, which is why this last step is yours.
How do I set a live wallpaper so it moves?
Open the Live Photo in Photos, tap Share ▸ Use as Wallpaper and keep Live on at bottom-left. It plays when you wake your iPhone. If it doesn't move, turn off Low Power Mode. More on live wallpapers.
How do I add a Home Screen widget?
Touch and hold an empty area of the Home Screen, tap + (or Edit ▸ Add Widget), search DailyThemes, choose a size and add it. Then touch and hold the widget ▸ Edit Widget to pick your design. Widget guide.
How do I add a Lock Screen widget?
Touch and hold the Lock Screen ▸ Customize ▸ Lock Screen, tap the widget row under the clock (or the date line for inline), choose a DailyThemes widget and tap Done. Lock Screen guide.
How do I install an icon pack with Shortcuts?
Open the icon pack and choose apps to restyle. For each app, DailyThemes prepares the icon and opens Shortcuts; add the shortcut to your Home Screen with the new icon. Then touch and hold the original ▸ Remove App ▸ Remove from Home Screen. Never tap Delete App. Icon pack guide.
Where did my original app go?
It's in App Library: swipe left past your last Home Screen page (on iPad, tap the App Library icon at the right end of the Dock). Drag it back to the Home Screen any time.
How do I restore my Pro purchase?
In DailyThemes, open settings and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe. Pro works on all your iPhones and iPads with that Apple ID.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings ▸ [your name] ▸ Subscriptions, choose DailyThemes and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged. Deleting the app doesn't cancel it.
How do I turn Daily Drop notifications on or off?
In the DailyThemes settings under Notifications, or in iOS Settings ▸ Notifications ▸ DailyThemes. The Daily Drop reminder arrives at 9:00 and has a Save to Library button. Notifications are off until you turn them on.
Why isn't my weather widget showing my town?
Weather uses an approximate location based on your internet connection, so it can be a nearby town, especially on VPN or mobile data. DailyThemes doesn't ask for precise GPS.
Does DailyThemes sync between iPhone and iPad?
Yes. Preferences sync through iCloud when both devices use the same Apple ID and iCloud is on.
